The PTS Process of Admission

Step 1: Providing Information to Prospective Parents
Please contact the Administration Office in order to collect the Prospective Parent Information Pack which includes:

  1. School Profile
  2. Application and Registration Procedures
  3. International grade comparisons and usual age for entry to PTS
  4. Programme information
  5. Schedule and Fees, including uniform and meals charges

Step 2: Making Your Application
            Fill out the Application Form and submit to the PTS front office admissions clerk.
            Parents should prepare the following:

  1. Signed and Filled PTS Student Application Form
  2. 3 copies of  2" Passport Style Photographs of your child
  3. 3 copies of  2" Passport Style Photographs of Parents
  4. Copy of Parents ID
  5. Copy of house registration of Student and Parent
  6. Copy of Students Birth Certificate
  7. Copy of the document for change of mother’s maiden name
  8. Report and Transcript of the old school

                                    PLUS for Primary School and above also the following:

  1. Por.Por.1 (copy and original)

Step 3: Admission Testing and Interview
            Once all the admission requirements have been met and received by the Admissions Office, an admission interview will be arranged with the Principal. Your child will also be scheduled to sit our Academic Aptitude and Placement Test (including language proficiency) as part of the admission process. Upon your successful application, you will be sent a formal offer of a place for your child and a slip to return to confirm you wish to take up the offer.

Step 4: Registration and Information to Registered Students and Parents
            Once you have returned the PTS Acceptance Offer the required fees should be paid to the Admissions Office. Registration is complete when all fees are received. An information package to parents will be made available, which contains all the necessary information you will need to ensure a successful start to your child’s time at PTS.

Step 5: Class Placement
            The school will confirm student class placement one week prior to the start of the academic year. You will also receive a copy of the registration form indicating your child’s grade class, Home Room Teacher and Student ID number.

Step 6: School Uniforms and Bags
            School uniforms and School Bags should be purchased from the school shop prior to their child’s first day.

Step 7: Orientation and Placement Testing
            As part of the orientation your child will attend an Orientation Day where they will meet teachers, meet fellow students, be introduced to the facilities and systems in the school and undertake some fun school activities. Once your child starts school, your child’s class teachers will write you a letter of introduction to you and provide you with some curriculum support ideas and information for the appropriate grade level.  Parents will be invited on this day to meet with the Principal and senior staff to discuss school processes and matters.
